Terms of Use

HostAir Academy is an independent study aid for the Ontario Real Estate Salesperson Program exams. It offers study notes, practice questions, timed practice exams and key terms.

It is not affiliated with, endorsed by or licensed by the Real Estate Council of Ontario (RECO), Humber Polytechnic or any exam provider. Its questions are written by HostAir and are not official exam questions.

The Academy helps you prepare. It does not guarantee that you will pass an exam, and it is not legal, financial or licensing advice.

• You must be at least 18 years old, or the age of majority where you live.
• Give accurate details and keep them up to date.
• One account per person. Accounts cannot be shared, lent or sold.
• Keep your password private. You are responsible for everything done through your account.
• Tell us at academy@hostair.ca if you think someone else has used your account.

The Free plan includes the first modules, one practice exam and the key terms. The Pro plan unlocks everything for a monthly or yearly fee shown on the Pricing page, in Canadian dollars, plus applicable taxes.

Pro renews automatically at the end of each billing period until you cancel. You can cancel at any time from Settings and keep Pro access until the end of the period you have paid for.

Payments are processed by Stripe. We do not store your card number.

Fees are not refundable for a partial billing period, except where the law requires a refund. If something went wrong with a payment, write to us within 14 days and we will look into it.

We may change prices. We will email you at least 30 days before a change affects your renewal.

Everything on the Academy, including notes, questions, explanations, practice exams, key terms, images, design and software, belongs to HostAir Property Solution Inc. or its licensors and is protected by Canadian and international copyright law.

We give you a personal, non-exclusive, non-transferable licence to view the content on the Academy, on your own devices, for your own exam preparation. That is all the licence covers.

You may not:

• copy, screenshot, photograph, record, print, download, scrape or otherwise reproduce any content;
• share, post, publish, sell, rent or distribute any content, or give someone else access to your account;
• use the content to create study materials, question banks, courses or any other product or service, whether free or paid;
• use the content to train or prompt an artificial-intelligence model;
• remove or hide watermarks, notices or any other mark that identifies the content or your account;
• bypass, disable or interfere with the protections described below.

To protect the content, study pages carry a watermark with your name, email address and account number.

Attempts to copy, cut, print, save, drag or screenshot study pages are blocked where technically possible. Each blocked attempt is recorded with your account, the page, the action, the date and time, your browser and your IP address.

Repeated attempts, or any copy of our content found outside the Academy that carries your watermark, are a breach of these terms. We may suspend or close your account without refund and may use the records as evidence.

We review the records before acting. If you believe a suspension is a mistake, write to academy@hostair.ca.

• Do not use the Academy for anything illegal.
• Do not access it with bots, scripts or other automated tools, and do not try to reach data or accounts that are not yours.
• Do not interfere with the service, its security or other learners.
• Do not impersonate anyone or misrepresent your connection with HostAir.
• Be respectful in messages to our support team.

We may suspend or close your account if you breach these terms, if the law requires it, or if we stop offering the Academy. Where reasonable, we will tell you why.

You can close your account at any time by writing to academy@hostair.ca. We delete your account details and progress within 30 days, except records we must keep by law or to resolve a dispute.

The sections about content, protection records, disclaimers and liability continue to apply after your account is closed.

We collect what we need to run the Academy: your name, email address, password (stored in hashed form), study progress and exam results, subscription status, support messages, and the content-protection records described above. Stripe handles payment details.

We use this information to provide the service, keep it secure, enforce these terms and contact you about your account. We do not sell it.

It is stored on servers run by Cloudflare. You can ask us to see, correct or delete your information at academy@hostair.ca.

The Academy is provided as is. We work to keep the content accurate and the service available, but we do not promise that it is error-free, complete, up to date or uninterrupted. Exam content and rules change; always check official sources.

To the extent the law allows, HostAir Property Solution Inc. is not liable for indirect or consequential loss, including lost exam attempts, fees, income or opportunities, and our total liability to you is limited to the amount you paid us in the 12 months before the claim.

Nothing in these terms limits rights that consumer-protection law gives you and that cannot be excluded.

We may update these terms. The date at the top shows the current version. For important changes we will email account holders before the change takes effect. Using the Academy after a change means you accept it.

These terms are governed by the laws of Ontario and the federal laws of Canada that apply there. Disputes are heard in the courts of Ontario, Canada, unless the law gives you the right to another forum.
